Greetings Listeners,
Do you remember the precious experience of eating delicious fruit off a pit, or a core? Do you remember the juices dripping from your chin? As a child, did you sometimes forget to wash the fruit off before you ate it? I’ve done that before. We were once fortunate to have a peach tree in our yard, and sitting outside with the family, and eating peaches was a wonderful experience I still carry with me.
What about those who didn’t get to enjoy such a simple, but beautiful life moment? Some children don’t get that experience, and my husband was one of them. His family for some reason didn’t feel they should expose him to something so simple and delicious that most of us take for granted. Today, I got a peach for him to try, and I record his reaction. In this episode, I also talk about the fond memories of enjoying fruit right off the tree. Did you ever get to experience that?
If you haven’t yet, I challenge you to get yourself a peach either from a market or tree if you have it. If your market wherever you are in the word doesn’t happen to carry peaches, get a fruit that you can just simply bite into, and taste its lovely, sweet juices. The ordinary act of eating fruit won’t feel so plain anymore. 🙂
I’ll be back tomorrow with another recording, but until then, I hope everyone has a lovely day. Enjoy your delicious fruits, and we’ll meet again tomorrow. Hugs and blessings to all,
Melissa and Zappa
